Finally, someone said what had to be said. We as women are not an afterthought. We have been through enough to read thru the lines and know that Palin was just a gesture to distract those of us that don’t think about what she says and what she has done. Nothing. Personally, as a female that grew up in the town that Gloria Steinem grew up in I know that we are all supposed to be airheads and not have thoughts beyond what our husbands think. But, we are the ones raising the children and taking care of our elderly parents. The war has to stop and the money spent there ia needed at home to take care of the problems of the infrastructure, home losses, and job losses. Please see them for what they are a distraction. Vote

I certainly appreciate you sharing this read with me.It certainly makes a difference in what people say,do and how they act also how they choose their friends.Sara does not share my values.I have already voted and I didn’t vote for her.There will never be any candidate that everyone agrees with but like the writer stated ‘brick layers have made more strides.

This is an awesome read!!!!! And thank you for saying it. Sometimes its hard to believe that when different people see and hear Palin that we see and hear different things. I personally am offended by her and the people who say she is representing the American woman. I can’t identify with her on any level and nor would I want to. When someone truly connects with another color barriers somehow become blurred and your similar experiences causes the connection as well as your beliefs. But somehow when I hear her “slinging mud” at Barack and calling John McCain a “Maverick” and claiming shes not a Washington elite(I’ll take elite and experience any day over inexperienced) it seperates us. I hope and pray (although in the back of my mind I know) that the American People as a whole are smarter than this.

I too will vote for Barack because he shares my views. I will vote for Barack because thanks to him, minority children have permission to dream as large as minds will allow them.

I am truly glad that my coworker shared this reading with me. I too will continue to do my part in the campaign for Barack. Not because Ms. Taylor is doing the same thing but because I too agree that Mr. Obama shares my values.
